Ghana’s leading aid in SME and official sponsor of the Black stars, uniBank has been named the best local bank in Corporate Social Responsibility at the 2016 Ghana Banking Awards.
The 15th edition of the Ghana Banking Awards which took place last Saturday in Accra, was attended by the top-brass men and high profiles in the banking sector.
The 2016 event was organised by Corporate Initiative Ghana (CIG), where winners were assessed based on the published financial results and Twenty eight banks were screened by Auditing Firm Ernst & Young (EY).
uniBank’s award comes just a week after being named the sixth best local company at the Ghana Club 100 Awards.
Starting as private company in December 1997 to operate as a bank, Unibank is a wholly owned Ghanaian bank authorized to undertake a broad range of banking Services after it inception in January 2001.
