…Says he’s been Unlawfully arrested


Gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng the “makomaso ade3 “hit maker has been unlawfully as he claimed arrested by oforikrom policemen for allegedly extorting nine thousand Ghana CEDI’s from one Rosemond Asante a staff of Fedility bank company limited in agreement to buy his 2014 model kia Rio.

The renowned musician bitterly narrated the incidence to pressmen today in an interview, adding that, after both of them agreed to the equilibrium price of fifteen thousand CEDI’s, the woman in question paid the said amount and promised to add the remaining in two weeks time, which she later said was not interested to buy the car again, so she need the deposited money back meanwhile he Akwasi Boateng told her to wait for a while to refund it but he learnt it might bring chaos ,so he reported it to Oforikrom policemen and later find out they were in turn fighting against him by defending the woman.

He added that,the policemen rained a lot of insults on him and even questioned his integrity as a gospel musician, after they arrested him without any legal base,” after all am not guilty and am surprised how they arrested me and kept insulting after I even knelt down to begged just to make me explained the issue to know the truth”, he narrated.

He concluded that,the policemen forced him to borrowed thousand CEDI’s from elsewhere to pay that money which pains him alot, therefore, appealing to various human right activists to come to his aid since he believes the policemen and the lady have really planned to infringe upon his right and tarnish his outstanding won reputation.
